Also what time commitment is required? Average per week, for developing new trading strategies and tracking the open trades.

What are average yearly costs for software and data feed?

You refer to "my" strategies but in the material you should get the necessary knowledge to develop models on your own and this would obviously lead to different results. A single strategy taken with a 1% risk pro trade could lead to 30% return/year or to 0 being impossible to trade it as not all strategies can be traded with a 1% risk. The overall performance depends then also on the number of active strategies. So I would say that with a normally diversified portfolio and that level of risk you should have a possibility to get a 25-35% return but there is no mathematical formula as a general tool to estimate it.

Time to dedicate is larger at an early stage when you want to start developing, of course that depends on you, normally committed people dedicate even too much time but a reasonable amount of time per week could be estimated in 3-4 hours distributing these the way you prefer.

If you choose MultiCharts you have to pay some 1000 USD (more or less, using the discount we arranged with them) for the license and then something similar to get quality data from IQFeed (just to mention the one I consider the best) being the first a one time expense while the data a yearly charge.
